My Foreign Language Journeys

The languages that I want to are Arabic and Spanish. I've been immersing in Arabic since kid due to my religion, in which I need to translate a word one by one in order to get the whole meaning. Yesterday (May 2nd) is my first day to start learning Arabic, and today (May 3rd) is a schedule for Spanish :)) I have no idea why I liked Spanish so much. When I was reading a book (in my 10), I liked to see Spanish names, expressions, even monikers. It's not a strong foundation though.
Yeah at the beginning, I wanna learn those language alternately only by myself, I do hope it will be working (and not being burnout instead :v).
Unlike English, Spanish and Arabic is something new for me. I was introduced about English since elementary school, or maybe kindergarten! That makes a really big different compared to totally learning something from zero in my 20s. Luckily I've known some common basic words in Arabic, like preposition or pronoun, so lesson on yesterday is much easier for me. But for Spanish, OMG it's gonna be harder! I'm getting confused more and more, and have no clues what á, é, í, ó, ú is? :)))
Sooner or later, I believe I would easily thrive because I think my left brain has such a good performance (rather than the right side :D). I keep learning English simultaneously, and I already set my schedule for them all. For English now I'm learning about advanced grammar, conversational vocabulary, phrasal verb, and collocation. For both Arabic and Spanish, I'm still learning basic words, the exception is only in Spanish I'm totally beginner (or maybe less!), so I need to know the alphabetical pronunciation first :))
The comparison between my English vs Spanish notebook :v |
If you want to know how I learn, I utilize my devices to watch video from Youtube and install language learning app. I mentioned some apps in my English Journey post, moreover now I also use Duolingo and Memrise to absorb everything from zero.
My reason for creating this post only to remind me the day I started. I wanna take an early test for both, but how come? I don't even know every single basic expression lol :)))
