Atomic Habits - Can You Transform Massively?
Hi, folks. Today I would like to tell an absolutely incredible book with title "Atomic Habits" by James Clear. I knew about this book since I was a student at university, but unfortunately at that time I didn't enjoyed reading non fiction book. And for now, I'm so grateful to be the one of the reader.
I never imagine if our habits would affect our life at such essential way. Probably if we only mention about changing one or two routines, it wouldn't give much impact. But, in this case, we should change every single bad activity into a good one, only to never stop improving subsequently. Sounds difficult, huh? Not really!
The first thing that we should remember is : we couldn't change everything in a blink of an eye. We talked about progressing -- something that we started at the easiest way day by day until totally transforming and we couldn't turn back to our old routines. And for sure, before changing one specific habit, we should become aware of our activities in a day. We can start progressing if only we know exactly which habit that we're going to change.
After listing our daily activities and deciding which one the easiest to change, we can start this long journey. Within this book there are lots of methods that could give us various alternative, and therefore we can try exploring one by one, which one is the most suitable for us. We also can learn from some people around the world that could be successful only because they changed a very unimportant aspect but in every single activity.
You know, although I've been telling you some points about Atomic Habits, you should still read it by your own self. There are lots of meaningful advice to help us maintain our motivation and never stop developing our self. Even though we have succeeded to change all of our bad habits, it's not a finish line. There's no ending for changing and improving. Some people usually only do progressing when still reducing the bad habits, but later on, they'll stuck, they'll stop. No more improvement. That's why, stay motivated is a key.
After telling you this short review, I do hope you guys feel interested to read this book and implement it, of course what's the point if we only read without actually doing it. I gave 5 stars on Goodreads because it really is!
Thank you for reading my story. See ya!
